Rachel Crow stays happy

Rachel Crow stays happy despite her dark past. She’s got a sunny smile which hides her horrific previous abuse. She is happy now, however as a baby, she endured horrible conditions in a crack den before she was adopted. Rachel’s mother made her happy when she told her, “We are sole mates. We just had to find each other.”

Her adoptive mother said, “She was born a crack baby and actually lived in a crack house and suffered a lot of abuse.” Today, she is an irresistible ray of sunshine. Happy little Rachel is totally unaffected by her past. Her mother said, “She never looks at her past in a sad way. She looks at it as that is what made her what she is today.”

Rachel Crow will be happy whether she wins the 5 million dollars or not because she’s just that way – happy! If she wins, she’ll get a larger home for her family with more than one bathroom. She will also make many other children happy. She wants to build a foundation to help foster kids feel happy about themselves, whether they want to sing, act, or go to Harvard. She said, “I want to make sure they get to chase their dreams.”

Thirteen year old Rachel Crow knows something about being happy  that many adults have yet to learn. It’s one of the most valuable lessons in life. She is happy despite where she came from. She is happy about who she is today; she is happy with what she is doing today no matter what happened before today. Rachel Crow not only doesn’t let her past affect her, she knows it contributed to what makes her happy today.
